Fox Eyes Thread Lift for Gorgeous Looking Eyes

Social media’s latest makeup trend, Fox’s eye, involves shaving off the tail end of your eyebrows (eliminating everything from the tail) to draw on a straighter brow; using a arch to the brown or black eye shadow to create a sharp, cat-eye flick up towards the temples.

The Fox-Eye Thread-lift (also known as Cat-Eye Thread-lift) is a quick, minimally invasive, no downtime, a relatively pain-free procedure performed at SKIN CLUB Cosmetic Doctors. This treatment is quick and relatively inexpensive when compared to plastic surgery. Here is everything about the ‘fox eye lift’ treatment.

Popularised by Bella Hadid

Fox eye is a minimally invasive, quick, and pain-free procedure performed in our clinic and takes only 30 minutes. Supermodel Bella Hadid has popularised this beauty trend. The speedy and cost-effective nature of the process lures people from all walks of life. As there is very minimal downtime, the procedure is very appealing.

The Fox Eye Thread-lift is a procedure that uses dissolvable threads to lift and elongate the eye to create a more almond shape while simultaneously producing a brow lift.

What is a Thread Lift?

Over time skin can start to sag, and fine lines can become more noticeable. In the past, a facelift was the only option available for these skin concerns. However, today, due to the advancement of technology, there is a non-surgical option known as a thread lift.

The thread lifts treatment is safe, but it is still not entirely pain-free. Some patients may experience minimal swelling, bruising, minimal pain and soreness around the treated area after having brow lift treatment. Your doctor will offer pain relief medication after treatment. Generally speaking, this treatment is not that painful, and a local anesthetic is also used in most cases.

What is a Fox Eye Lift?

Fox eye thread lift Melbourne is a popular cosmetic treatment. It uses dissolvable threads to lift the upper eyelid’s corner and stretch it back towards the templates to create a more almond shape while raising the brow tail simultaneously.

However, these procedures are not one-size-fits-all. It means the strategy used by our expert doctors to accomplish a desired aesthetic result depends on the patient. The ‘Fox Eyes’ treatment is widely popular for women in their 20s and 30s wishing to copy the cat-like ‘Instagram face.’ The cost of fox eye lift treatment usually depends on the complexity of the technique, targeted areas, user needs, and location. The average price ranges from $695 to $2500.

A thread lift is a non-surgical facelift procedure that tightens the corners of the eyes, eyebrows, lips, and chin line. This treatment is becoming popular among those who want facial changes without complete surgery. Instead, special threads are inserted under the skin and pulled to offer the desired look from the patient.

What to expect after thread lift procedures?

      • Irregularities of the skin may occur in the thread lift areas, such as dimples, puckering, and bunching, but this is just temporary.
      • Firmness under the skin
      • Snapping of threads, but this won’t cause unevenness. Tightness will become better after a few weeks.
      • Give thread lift time to settle. You might experience swelling, and some changes in the skin may occur.
      • Threads are injected underneath the skin. They are also clear and cannot be seen even if the skin is fair and thin. Lines can only be visible if placed too close to the skin’s surface.
      • Post care, clean your face gently, especially on the thread lift area.
      • Right after the thread lifts, there will be swelling around the thread. It won’t be visible but will make the line feel thicker. So, it is as if you are feeling the threads. After the healing is completed, there are threads that you will feel due to its migration. It is like a pimple-like sensation under the skin. In many cases, it can be eliminated with an appropriate soft massage.

What are the do’s and don’ts before and after the thread lift treatment?

For the safety of your well-being, it is essential to follow the instructions given to you by your doctor strictly. It is mandatory to manage side effects and avoid further complications.

      • Caffeine and nicotine should be avoided before the procedure.
      • To decrease swelling and bruising, take Arnica tablets three days prior and continue for seven days after your procedure.
      • Refrain from taking Vitamin E, Fish oil, and green tea for ten days before and after the surgery.
      • Avoid Aspirin, Nurofen, or anti-inflammatories for at least 2 to 3 weeks before the procedure.
      • Please discuss it with the clinician if you are taking anti-inflammatories, anticoagulants, or blood platelet anti-aggregation drugs.
      • Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages 48 hours before and after the procedure
      • You might need to have antiviral therapy for three days before and after surgery if you experience cold sores.
      • Vitamin C is recommended for smokers as they heal slower than non-smokers.
      • Apply cold compress gently on the treated skin 48 hours after treatment. Be careful not to put pressure on the skin where threads were implanted.
      • Right after the procedure, and for at least 24 hours, reduce ‘frequent speaking’ and ‘excessive laughter. Excessive speaking and laughter can increase unwanted facial movements and affect the results.
      • Raise the treated area when sleeping. Use extra pillows and support, and sleep on your back for seven days. Do not sleep with pressure on your face.
      • Antibiotic therapy is required post-surgery. Your doctor will prescribe an appropriate antibiotic for you.
      • Consume soft, warm food only for the next seven days so that your mouth only opens a small amount
      • Drink plenty of fluids but refrain from using a straw as it distorts facial muscle. Avoid hot drinks.
      • Do not pull your face down or raise your eyebrows, or smile.
      • Avoid smoking if possible.
      • Do not shave for ten days after the procedure (because of involuntary grimacing). After ten days, you may shave with a new blade, allowing one to pass over the skin without contorting the face. Regular shaving may be resumed after one month.
      • Do not use makeup for 3-5 days.
      • Hold your face with your hands if crying, laughing, coughing, or sneezing to avoid excessive use of facial muscles.
      • No strenuous activities for at least 14 days.
      • Take Paracetamol with codeine as per requirement.

      Thread lift gone wrong

      divider centered

If you are unhappy with the result of your thread lift, you can always request to have it adjusted, replaced, or even removed. Thread lift is temporary, and when threads are removed, you will go back to how you looked before the lift.

Due to genetics, advancing age, or too much sun exposure, individuals with very thin skin may not be a good candidate for a thread lift. Other facial rejuvenation treatments may be recommended for them.

Generally, thread lift is low risk, but some non-cosmetic doctors already offer it over time. However, it is still best to seek the services of certified cosmetic professionals who specialize in this area to prevent you from running into further complications.

Are the procedures of all thread lifts the same?

      divider centered

There are different methods done when doing thread lift based on the threads used and the technique of putting the lifting thread. You must have it performed by a highly-skilled doctor who understands the anatomy of your face to avoid serious side effects and get the results that you want to have. It is also suggested to do research beforehand to ensure that you know what to expect and are confident that the treatment is suitable.
