Teosyal, Juvéderm, and Restylane are commonly used brand names for hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. All 3 are well-established in the market and have proven to have the ability to plump and smooth the facial features and neck. So the question is, what dermal filler brand is suited for me?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) natural substance found in your body, often found in the soft connective tissues, in the fluid around the eyes, in some cartilage and joint fluids. It is one of the most popular kinds of injectable fillers to improve the quantity and quality of HA in the skin.

Teosyal, Juvéderm, and Restylane are all hyaluronic acid-based fillers. These brands work in similar way and each offers specialized HA products for specific areas and corrections. The 3 products usually range from $700 to $850 per syringe. Results from the 3 brands last between 6 and 12 months.

Although, Teosyal, Juvéderm, and Restylane are almost similar to one another, these 3 have different cohesiveness for different uses. For instance, Juvéderm the first developed HA filler, is more firm and hold has more volume than the others. Yet, Teosyal lasts longer than Juvéderm.

Teosyal’s product line has better cross-linkage molecules that are as close as the natural HA in the body to hold its shape and stronger longer. One of Teosyal’s variations is Redensity 2. It is a popular tear trough filler because of its thin, smooth texture and less visibility. Teosyal Kiss maintains its soft form on the lips for a longer period while Teosyal Ultra Deep restores volume in larger areas, especially for the lower part of the face.

Restylane has several variants, too. Its HA fillers are Restylane Refyne, Defyne, Silk, and Lyft. Meanwhile, Juvéderm has Juvéderm Ultra XC and Juvéderm Ultra Plus.

Thick fillers are beneficial for those with  deep laugh lines, cheeks, and jawline and the thinner products work best when injected under the skin such as in the smoker’s lines and under the eyes.
