A popular effective option to nose plastic surgery is the non-surgical rhinoplasty or nose filler treatment. It is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures offered at our SKIN CLUB – Cosmetic Doctors.

What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers to reshape and contour areas of the nose. It is a great and affordable alternative for those not keen on traditional rhinoplasty. Dermal fillers can be used to increase height for flat bridge corrections, symmetry correction for a slightly crooked nose, and camouflage the bumps and indentations on the bridge of the nose. It also deals with facial balance, shape refinement, and other minor concerns on the nose.

What does a non-surgical rhinoplasty involve?

  • The initial consultation

Before the procedure, initial consultation with the doctor is required to discuss the areas and extent of treatment. At this stage, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to share your desired results and any concerns you have will be answered by our doctor himself.

  • The procedure

While the cosmetic procedure is relatively pain-free, an anesthetic cream can be applied to help numb the injection site to minimize any discomfort. The dermal fill will be strategically injected by our doctor to redefine your nose. The treatment takes about 30 minutes and the results are seen immediately. You may experience some slight redness and swelling after the non-surgical nose job procedure but can return to your daily activities. This means you can book an appointment during your lunch break!

What type of dermal filler is used?

There are plenty of injectable dermal fillers on the market in Australia, the most common being hyaluronic acid (HA). HA dermal fillers are substances naturally found in the body and that we gradually lose as we age. This results in sagging and wrinkling of the skin. HA fillers allow cosmetic doctors to restore the lost volume, smooth out wrinkles, and provide a skincare regimen with more natural results.

At SKIN CLUB – Cosmetic Doctors, HA dermal fillers are used to lessen the risk of rejection by the body, and ensure there are minimal to no side effects, making it a very safe cosmetic procedure.

Are the results permanent?

Dermal filler results are temporary corrections that only last up to approximately 12 months and may need a touch-up later on. However, there is one main advantage of getting dermal fillers than resorting to plastic surgery rhinoplasty or permanent liquid fillers. Dermal fillers can be dissolved naturally in the body over some time and can be reversed if you are unhappy with the result and go back to your original profile.
