Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a great fix for minor reshaping with minimal downtime. It gives more patients better options beyond traditional rhinoplasty. It is a noninvasive cosmetic procedure that is performed quickly and can be scheduled during lunch break with minimal recovery time. A small number of dermal fillers can go a long way and transform the nose of a patient dramatically.

Our Cosmetic Doctor, Dr. Vihang Sharma, has mastered the art of using dermal fillers for nose contouring and gives incredibly natural-looking results. He fills in certain areas of the nose to smooth out the appearance of bumps and bridges. He can make minor alterations on the angle of the nose tip to reduce the appearance of the nose size and enhance the shape.

So, why should you consider a non-surgical nose job?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is best for correcting minor abnormalities which includes:

  • Flat bridge correction to create a subtle increase in height

  • Symmetry correction of the slightly crooked or off-center nose

  • Camouflage a bump or hook on the bridge of the nose

  • Create a balance between the size of the nose in comparison with other facial features

  • Shape refinement after a surgical rhinoplasty

Types of filler used

There is a wide range of dermal fillers used in cosmetic procedures and the most common fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA). HA dermal fillers are composed of natural sugar, also present in the body, found in the fluids of our joints and eyes. As we grow older, we lose hyaluronic acid resulting in skin sagging wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid (HA) injectables add volume to the skin, helping to smooth out lines or enhance areas that are completely safe and simple to perform.

How long does non-surgical rhinoplasty last?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is not a permanent treatment. It lasts about 12-18 months.

Some cosmetic clinics offer permanent filler options and their liquid nose fillers remain in the body forever and can’t be dissolved and can’t be corrected. On the other hand, hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers can be reversed should the cosmetic doctor need to do any  modification to acheive the desired results.
