There is a wide list of non-invasive cosmetic facial treatments offered at SKIN CLUB – Cosmetic Doctors which includes the popular liquid nose job. Although it is a walk-in and walk-out type of procedure, it is still important to be prepared for your non-surgical nose rhinoplasty procedure.
Aside from your understanding of the procedures and the dermal filler used in the treatment, our team will assist you with all your inquiries to prepare you for your non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure. We can give you advice on the Do’s and Don’ts pre- and post-treatment as well as help book the appointment for you.
1.Before The Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Treatment
SKIN CLUB – Cosmetic Doctors patients are required to attend an initial consultation with our doctor. This is where the doctor will do a physical examination of your nose and facial features, plan with you according to your desired goal, advise expectations of the procedure and determine if non-surgical rhinoplasty is the appropriate treatment for your cosmetic needs.
If you want significant changes to the shape of the nose, surgical rhinoplasty may be recommended and you may be referred to a plastic surgeon for this procedure.
During your initial consultation, our cosmetic doctor will discuss the procedure, the benefits and risks of injectables. This is the best time to ask any questions you may have, such as:
- Can I see the before and after photos of your past patients?
- What type of dermal fillers do you use?
- Is there downtime and how long will it take?
- Aside from bruising and swelling, are there any other side effects I may experience?
- How long will the results last?
- Do you have any post-treatment aftercare guides?
2. Scheduling Your Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Treatment
One of the most common questions we receive about dermal filler treatments is if it can be done before a big event. Although the procedure is quick and easy, it is still recommended to plan the treatment at least 2 weeks to a month prior to any event in case of any side effects.
It is also advisable for you to temporarily stop taking medications, supplements, or herbal remedies that act as blood thinners to avoid any risk of bruising and swelling. This must be discussed during your initial consultation with our doctor.
3. During The Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Treatment
Unlike cosmetic or plastic surgery, there is no need to do or prepare on the day of your procedure. Aside from avoiding certain medications, you need to avoid over the counter analgesics such as aspirin or ibuprofen, supplements containing vitamin E, garlic, and ginseng.
A topical numbing cream will be applied to the injection site and you may be provided with an ice pack to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. Our doctor administers the treatment and the procedure will run for as little as 30 minutes. You will see the results and the enhancement on your nose in an instant! You may experience minor redness and tenderness but no recovery time is required. You can immediately go back to work afterward or return to your daily activities.
